A fatality accident occurred at approximately 8:05 pm Sunday evening at the Railroad Crossing at Western Avenue and Pancake Boulevard. A Pedestrian was pushing another Pedestrian in a wheelchair when they attempted to cross the railroad crossing while the crossing arms were down and the warning signals were active. The 2 Pedestrians were struck by the train and died at the scene.

The victims have been identified as Adam “Coco” and Deanna Flores of Liberal.
